Ibiribwa is a Rwandan online agriculture marketplace created to make fresh farm foods more accessible to families while supporting local farmers in reaching reliable markets. The idea was started by young Rwandan entrepreneur Harengerimana Evariste, who saw the need for an easier and more modern way to connect farmers with consumers and traders across the country.

In many parts of Rwanda, farmers work hard to produce high-quality vegetables, fruits, grains, and other agricultural products. However, getting those products to the right market at the right time can often be challenging. At the same time, many families and businesses look for trusted sources where they can find fresh, natural, and safe food.

Ibiribwa was created to bridge that gap.

Through our digital platform, customers can easily order fresh agricultural products while farmers gain better opportunities to sell and increase the value of their harvests. We work closely with local farmers and suppliers to ensure that quality farm foods reach people in a reliable and efficient way.

To support this system, we use Ikigega, our food storage and distribution solution designed to keep products fresh, safe, and well managed before they reach customers. This helps reduce food waste while ensuring that people receive healthy and natural products they can trust.
